Stability Chambers

THE BINDER KBF 1020 CONSTANT CLIMATE CHAMBER WITH LARGE TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY RANGE

Khululekani Laboratory Services has acquired three additional Stability Storage Chambers which have a capacity of 1020 liters per chamber.

We are currently cater for the following conditions:
• 25°C/60% Humidity
• 30°C/65% Humidity
• 30°C/75% Humidity
• 40°C/75% Humidity.

Outside the mentioned conditions KLS is able to cater for other conditions according to the customers specification within the similar parameters as the mentioned conditions.

KLS monitors the chambers 24 hours daily using the Infinity Software. The benefits are:

• The software allows data to be collected every 30 minutes and captured.
• In the case of an excursion from the limits, the software will immediately alert three KLS Management staff via SMS.

KLS has implemented the following:
• The chambers run on a combination of solar/inverter/battery system and municipal power when needed.
• A 80kva generator is onsite which will allow for the chambers to continue running should the batteries be depleted
• A maintenance program is also in place to ensure that the chambers are maintained and in good condition.

UPLC

Khululekani Laboratory Services uses Acquity UPLC I-Class Plus System to conduct analysis. UPLC is Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography which has become the modern standard HPLC platform due to its power for increasing sample throughput, chromatographic efficiency, sensitivity and decreasing run time. That means it allows for lower particle sizes within columns, making it suitable for low-component analysis.

The main purposes for using UPLC are for identifying and quantifying the individual components of the complicated samples. They have better peak separation for a sharper and detailed peaks
