Overview

Skull fractures are breaks in the cranial bone, often resulting from trauma, falls, or accidents. They may be simple or complex depending on severity and location.

Symptoms

Visible deformity or depression in the skull Bleeding from scalp, ears, or nose Headache Swelling or bruising Nausea, vomiting, or confusion

Causes

Direct trauma to the head Falls, sports injuries, or vehicle accidents Physical assault

Diagnosis
