Overview
Scrub typhus is a bacterial infection caused by Orientia tsutsugamushi, transmitted through bites of infected chigger mites. It is common in rural areas of Asia-Pacific regions.

Fever and chills Headache and muscle pain Rash on the body Eschar (dark scab at bite site) Gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea
