Overview
Low-grade brain tumours are slow-growing tumors in the brain that may cause symptoms over time depending on their location and size. They are generally less aggressive than high-grade brain tumours.

Causes
Genetic mutations in brain cells Family history of brain tumours Exposure to radiation Unknown environmental factors
Diagnosis
MRI or CT scan to identify tumor location and size Biopsy to confirm tumour type Neurological examination Functional imaging in some cases
Treatment
Observation with regular MRI scans for slow-growing tumors Surgery to remove the tumour if accessible Radiotherapy for tumors that cannot be fully removed Targeted therapies in specific cases Supportive care for symptoms such as seizures or headaches
