Overview

Keratosis pilaris is a common skin condition where small, rough bumps appear on the skin due to buildup of keratin in hair follicles.

Symptoms

Small, rough bumps on the arms, thighs, cheeks, or buttocks Dry or sandpaper-like skin Itching in some cases

Causes

Excess keratin blocking hair follicles Genetic predisposition Often associated with dry skin or eczema
