Overview
Gallbladder pain is discomfort caused by problems in the gallbladder, often related to gallstones or inflammation (cholecystitis).
Symptoms
Severe pain in the upper right abdomen Pain after eating fatty meals Nausea and vomiting Fever or chills if infection is present
Causes
Gallstones blocking bile flow Inflammation of the gallbladder (cholecystitis) Gallbladder polyps or tumors
